What a sinking fund is

A sinking fund is money you set aside a little at a time for a cost you know is coming: car insurance, holidays, a new laptop, annual subscriptions. Divide the cost by the months left and save that each month, so the bill never hits all at once.

How the free tracker works

  1. On Goals, type each goal, its target amount and target date.
  2. Log every deposit or withdrawal on Log.
  3. Goals shows saved so far, still needed, months left and how much to save per month to make it on time.
